The Iowa PTA Life Achievement Award is the highest honor a local PTA unit can bestow on an individual. The Award is a way to honor someone who has given outstanding service to children by serving as an advocate for children in the areas of education, health, safety, and/or legislation. The honoree receives a plaque and the gratitude of all the members of the Iowa PTA for the work they have done. This Award is presented at a time and place selected by the unit making the nomination.
